Specialties: Europe, Mexico, Culinary Travel, Adventure Travel
Erin Alliston joined the Legacy Travel team July 2011, making her our newest member!
She grew up in a family that had a passion to travel, and now she's excited to see that passion manifest into her occupation. One of her first comments after joining us was, "I can't believe I have my dream job at the ripe age of 22!" She has traveled extensively over the years, visiting Paris, London, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, South Africa, Swaziland, Barbados, Belize, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, and Fiji! She still desires, however, to see much of the world. Erin's most exhilarating experience has to be the Nevis Bungee Jump in NZ - a rickety shack suspended by wires over a canyon. The jump lasts a total of 8 seconds....just count that out while imagining the ground rushing toward your face. She also went "black water rafting" in NZ. For this activity, she repelled down into a cave and maneuvered through the tunnels via zip lines in the dark, crawled on her hands and knees in tight spaces, and floated on her stomach in the freezing black waters. Oh, and to get out of the cave, she climbed up a series of 4 underground waterfalls... This adventuresome little spirit still hungers to learn as much as possible about the world around her. Her favorite TV shows reflect just that: The Travel Channel, National Geographic, The History Channel, and Discovery. She also has a bucket list where one finds the following: - A river cruise down the Nile - Food excursion in Brittany, France - Bungee jump from a helicopter - Play with lions (especially the babies) - Visit Australia: see all the sites and participate in all the adventure the Down Under has to offer! As for hobbies, Erin loves to dance and currently is doing Zumba with the other ladies in the office. She loves to sing in her car shamelessly, play board games, watch movies, play fantasy football, and travel, of course! Erin currently specializes in Mexico, but hopes to also become a specialist in Culinary Travel and Adventure Travel in the near future. On top of Mexico, Erin is familiar with travel involving Europe, as she has visited the continent many times. She giggles and smiles all the time, so give her a call and catch the disease!
