Terrah had hopes to become a travel consultant as young as the age of 11. Her passion for travel planning seems to get stronger through the years.

Terrah Rominger had an inkling she would end up as a travel consultant at the age of 11 after examining the results of a career assessment test in grade school. Years later, while attending a dental hygienist school, she sold vacation packages for a few months with Legacy Travel and was hooked. Rominger immediately pursued her career in the travel industry head-on and has been making strides ever since.

Rominger has a strong focus on destination weddings and honeymoons and specializes in Hawaii, Mexico and the South Pacific. She is a Maui, Oahu and Hawaii Destination Specialist as well as a Certified Destination Wedding Specialist and a Karisma Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultant. Rominger produces over one million dollars in leisure sales per year for Legacy Travel and has sold 23 destination weddings just this year. She was recognized by El Dorado Seaside Suites as one of the Top 10 Producing Agents of 2008.

“It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that I am a salesperson because I simply give my real, honest advice to people who are looking for it.” Rominger enjoys working with couples to plan their perfect destination wedding. She realizes just how much she loves her job every time a past client contacts her to thank her for an amazing experience.

1) What is the favorite trip you have taken?
That's hard. Probably my family trip to the Iberostar Maya in the Riviera Maya, my latest Hawaii Fam trip, or Disney when I was a kid. On the Iberostar trip I was in a beautiful destination with the people I love best. Hawaii was a very insightful trip. I experienced this fun local with some of the best travel agents in the industry. Who doesn't like Disney? It truly is the happiest place on Earth.

2) Where do you want to travel that you have never visited?
Australia/New Zealand, I have always wanted to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, sky dive down under and drink beer with the locals.

3) What do you wish people knew about travel or working with a travel agent?
That experienced travel agents are better than booking your travel on line because we have access to the best pricing and we know the destination. .

4) What are your hobbies?
I like to hang out with my boys, Anything outdoors, hybrid scrap booking, photography, hanging out with my peeps, dancing, and of course traveling the globe.

5) When you heard I was going to interview you, what question were you afraid I was going to ask?
I don't know. I was not really afraid of you asking anything. No shame in my game.

6) What areas in travel do you specialize in?
Hawaii, South Pacific, Mexico, Disney, Caribbean, and destination weddings.

7) What famous person do you wish was a co-worker at Legacy Travel?
Bruce Willis, because he is hot….I mean cool.
