Jill Dodson

Jill is originally from a small Swedish town in Central California called Kingsburg. After graduating from California State University Fresno, she worked for a company for 12 years that sold software to government environmental health agencies nationwide. With this position, she was able to travel all around the USA which sparked her lifelong love of travel. Throughout the 2000s, Jill's "spark" was lit and her passion for travel greatly increased. As a result, Jill spends as much time as possible traveling internationally. Here are some of her favorite experiences:

• Sitting and taking a picture on the big statue at Buckingham Palace (pre 9/11), visiting Windsor & Blenheim Palaces, Oxford and the longest named village in Wales in the UK
• Kissing the Blarney Stone, staying in Killarney, touring the Guinness Beer Factory & Jameson Distillery and spending the night at Dromoland Castle in Ireland
• Attending a bullfight, eating tapas and visiting the La Sagrada Familia and loving Gaudi's architecture in Barcelona
• First solo trip to Italy; Rome, Venice, Florence, Naples
• Second solo trip: Amsterdam and Belgium - Bruges is in her top 3 cities in Europe
• Best of Switzerland tour - her favorite city Montreaux and staying in Zermatt and seeing the Matterhorn & Mt. Blanc on a clear day
• Ziplining and walking across the Hanging Bridges at Arenal in Costa Rica
• Dubai - city tour, shopping at the souks, yacht cruise, visiting Abu Dhabi and dune bashing in the Arabian Desert
• Alaska Cruise - Juneau and Glacier Bay National Park
• Portugal - EVERYTHING!! Jill is ready to retire there

Jill started at Legacy Travel in 2021 post Covid. With her years of unique travel experiences and working in the industry since 2014, Jill is passionate and personable about sharing her love of travel with clients, helping them plan the perfect vacations and seeing and hearing about the joy after the journey.
